In 2018 Alberta Ecotrust approached me to work with them on a complete overhaul of their corporate identity. They wanted to refresh their brand with a new logo, colours, and supporting visual elements. Rather than settle for a subtle evolution, they wanted to take a bold step forward - away from the green cliches of the environmental space.
This revitalized brand signals a new era of building bridges between Alberta’s corporate sector and the environmental community.
The logo icon combines a wild rose, the symbol of Alberta's natural beauty with the universal symbol for recycling to create a new icon to visually represent Ecotrust’s vision of healthy ecosystems for all Albertans. By combining these two elements we create an ownable symbol that uniquely represents Alberta Ecotrust, and their work in this province.
